AM-Tech, an Alabama Shipyard Company, and the DB Arapaho (a conventional derrick barge ideal for a variety of heavy lift projects), traveled a short distance upriver yesterday to complete a heavy lift in the Port of Mobile. The DB Arapaho is US Flagged, Jones Act compliant, has a lift capacity of 800-tons, and is owned by AS and operated by AM-Tech.
