The DD Alabama is one of the largest floating drydocks in the United States, conveniently located on the Gulf Coast to provide docking services for larger ships in the Gulf of Mexico and along the East Coast. The “Alabama” held a NAVSEA Certification from 2005 – 2007 when previous ownership voluntarily withdrew from the certification.
